We ventured to Covent Garden in the inclement windy wet weather today and snapped this picture of Bambi’s tribute to Princess Diana. Located in an alleyway in Neal’s Yard this excellent mural shows Diana as Mary Poppins carrying an umbrella and holding a Harrods bag (as a reference to partner Dodi Al Fayed who passed away in the same car crash in 1997). She is floating above the grandchildren she never met, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who are looking up at her. To the side in pink stencil is the caption, “You can be as naughty as you want just don’t get caught.”
